Suede is made from the innermost layer of leather, superficially buffed to enhance its typical velvety feel.

Before cutting, artisans carefully analyse the leather, eliminating any potential imperfections: this delicate process requires time and precision. A latex brush removes dust and residue, while a coarser brush is used to revive the nap, so the shoe remains just as soft and beautiful as you see it now.

Strobel construction makes for a particularly lightweight and flexible shoe that suits casual style. 

The process begins with careful study of the leather; after finding the best part, the artisan cuts and shapes it round the last to form the upper. This is then delicately hammered to smooth down the seams and soften the parts that come into contact with the foot. Now the outsole can be attached and the shoe is ready to be finished and polished.

This sole brings together hiking, sports and urban city life. It looks sleek and compact and has good insulating properties; it’s also non-slip and wear-resistant. Production is based in Montegranaro, in the Marche region, where the tradition of shoemaking has deep roots.
